Mundoo Island Station is a privately owned and operated cattle and sheep station which commenced in 1843 – only 7 years after South Australia was proclaimed a colony.
Surrounded by the beautiful Coorong water on one side and the fresh water of the River Murray on the other, Mundoo Island is a unique part of South Australia.
Join Mundoo Island Station and Coorong Tours and enjoy a unique one and a half hour mini-bus tour of a private sheep and cattle station on an island in the Coorong.
You will see the Coorong barrages, magnificent birdlife, Mundoo Island Station museum, old car graveyard, hovercraft and learn about the station's history since 1843.
